The Australian Body Art Carnivale is Australia’s premier body art event, attracting artists and spectators from across Australia and overseas.
Inspiring artworks, fantastic music, world-class street performers all weekend.

The event is held annually in Eumundi, the dates for 2014 are Saturday 3 May and Sunday 4 May. The 2014 theme is “Dreams and Nightmares” which lends itself to a wide range of interpretations for artists.
The Carnivale will again be ‘A Festival of Colour’. It is centred on competitions in full body painting (temporary art – not tattoo) with competitions in the categories of brush and sponge, airbrush, special effects and face painting. The event also showcases competitions and exhibitions in wearable art, vehicle art and photography. For members of the public, it will be nothing short of phenomenal to watch the human canvases take shape during the competitions.
