Marcoola SLSC and the Sunshine Coast Kayak Club are organizing the Maroochy Down River Paddle Race. This is a 17km down river paddle starting at Dunethin Rock and finishing at the Kayak Club at Maroochydore.
The event will be held on 12th August 2012. It is open to a variety of craft from Kayaks, Surf Ski's, Ocean Racing Ski's, OC's, SUP's, and others.
There will be cash and prizes on offer donated by local businesses.
